This role is remote — the markets are where we are actively recruiting.
You already know how to assess a situation, explain a complex thing simply, and earn someone's trust in under five minutes. That's most of this job. The Wood Agency is looking for healthcare professionals ready to apply those skills to remote, commission-based 1099 life insurance sales — on their own schedule.
What you'll actually do
- Contact prospective clients who've shown interest in whole life coverage
- Schedule and hold one-on-one conversations to understand each family's needs
- Walk clients through policy options clearly — no pressure, no overselling
- Help clients complete applications and follow each case through underwriting
- Support clients through the claims process when the time comes
- Work independently across a book of clients you build over time
Who this is a fit for
- Nurses, paramedics, techs, or medical admin ready for a career shift
- People who are disciplined enough to work without someone managing their hours
- Those comfortable with commission-only income and building toward it steadily
- Anyone who's good at explaining hard things to people under stress
- Candidates willing to obtain a life insurance license before selling (or already licensed)
