Licensed P&C Agent — Crossing Over to Life Insurance, Remote 1099

The Tea, SD area is growing fast — new families, new homes, new financial needs. This role is for licensed P&C agents in or serving that market who are curious about how the life side actually works — the products, the comp structure, the real day-to-day. This is a remote, work-from-home position serving the Tea, SD area. It's 100% remote, commission-based 1099 work, and nothing here is dressed up to hide that. The Wood Agency wants to show you a different way.

What you'll actually do

• Contact prospective clients and schedule coverage conversations around their schedule
• Learn what each client actually needs before presenting any product
• Explain term, whole life, final expense, and IUL options across a 43-carrier portfolio
• Help clients complete applications and follow each case through underwriting
• Stay with clients through the full policy life, including benefit claims
• Join weekly team calls and 1:1 call reviews to keep your approach sharp
