Former First Responders & Law Enforcement — Remote Whole Life Sales, 1099

Norton, VA has a strong foundation of government, education, and professional employment — and families in your community need whole life insurance protection tailored to their real situations. The Wood Agency is looking for former first responders and law enforcement professionals to build an independent insurance sales practice serving the Norton area and beyond. This is a 100% remote, work-from-home position — you'll work on commission as a 1099 contractor, with the structure and mentorship you earned in public service, but the independence and growth potential you've been seeking.

What you'll actually do

• Contact prospective clients who've requested information about life insurance coverage
• Schedule and hold coverage conversations by phone or video
• Listen to each client's situation before explaining any whole life options
• Help clients complete applications and follow them through underwriting
• Stay with clients through the full relationship — including benefit claims
• Attend weekly team calls and participate in call reviews to sharpen your approach
