Former First Responders & Law Enforcement — Remote Whole Life Sales, 1099

Hallowell's civic leaders and independent professionals know the value of building something real on your own terms. The Wood Agency is looking for former first responders and law enforcement professionals ready to move into whole life insurance sales — on your own schedule, entirely remote. This is a remote, work-from-home position serving clients across Maine and beyond, with no office requirement or local commute.

What you'll actually do

• Contact prospective clients who've requested information about life insurance coverage
• Schedule and hold coverage conversations by phone or video
• Listen to each client's situation before explaining any whole life options
• Help clients complete applications and follow them through underwriting
• Stay with clients through the full relationship — including benefit claims
• Attend weekly team calls and participate in call reviews to sharpen your approach

Who this is a fit for

• Former law enforcement, corrections officers, firefighters, or public-service professionals
• People who thrived in structure but now want to own their schedule and build something independently
• Disciplined and self-directed — you don't need to be managed, but you actually show up
• Comfortable earning on commission and building a client base over time
