Corporate Account Manager — Remote Annuity & IUL Life Insurance Sales, 1099

Oxford, NC families and professionals — especially those in farming, state corrections, and similar work — understand the value of building security beyond the day job. The Wood Agency is looking for someone who can help them do that with life insurance and retirement planning, 100% remotely, as a 1099 independent contractor. This is a remote, work-from-home position serving the Oxford, NC area. You won't commute, and you don't need to live in Oxford — you'll work from wherever you choose and connect with clients entirely by phone and video.

What you'll actually do

• Follow up with people who've already requested information about life insurance, retirement planning, or wealth-building coverage
• Schedule and hold remote discovery calls to understand each client's financial picture before presenting anything
• Walk clients through how annuities and IUL policies function as long-term retirement or wealth-building tools — not just as coverage
• Draw from 43 carrier relationships to find the option that actually fits each client, not just the closest one on the shelf
• Stay with the application through underwriting until the policy is issued — you see the case through, start to finish
